On Wednesday and Thursday last week, I attended the Innovation & Strategy Forum in London.
On Friday morning, I received a feedback form.
The question I asked myself when I saw the form was, should I give an honest feedback or should I go British and say everything was fabulous?
It was one of those situations where my worst nightmare came to pass.
What do I mean by that?
Experience has taught me that most big organisations are staffed with a handful of very smart people and bunch of idiots.
So when I noticed the speakers were from well-recognised brands, I predicted it was going to be a waste of time and money.
And they did not disappoint.
Except for three speakers, the rest were terrible.
They did not seem to know what they were supposed to be talking about.
Aside from the three exceptional speakers, not a single one of the speakers said anything insightful that was worth my time and money.
So should I tell them the truth?
What do you think?
